Cristie Johnston

Cristie came to Jesus Christ November 9, 1978 and has since demonstrated a strong devotion to the Lord, her husband, family, and church. She is a passionate student of the Bible, author, and communicator to all ages and generations. Cristie has been an encourager and support to people in every walk of life. Her delivery and presence as a teacher of biblical truths reveal the strength of her convictions which are not only relevant to the church body but the entire nation.

Born August 26, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cristie met her husband Jerry Johnston of Overland Park, Kansas and were married on March 6, 1979. Cristie has been a faithful wife, a loving mother of three children, Danielle married to Rev. Christian Newsome, Jeremiah married to Audrey, and Jenilee married to Jeff Mullikin. She is the proud Oma (Grandma) of four grandchildren, Christian, Kasey, Lily Faith and the newest addition, Justen.

Cristie Johnston received her BA-Biblical Studies degree from the Midwestern Baptist College, SBC, Master of Divinity Degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, SBC and will graduate in May of 2012 with a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Acadia University’s Divinity College.
